Directed and edited by Mr. I and I himself it is said to be compiled from “Found footage from future civilization on another oceanic planet plagued by hurricanes and ruled by primitive satellite technology controlled by the all powerful Beekeeper ruling class.” That explains things.

Sunday, May 8th, 2011Our next installment in the Alchemist Video Series1 is from Eric Sarmiento. He’s debuting a new track called ‘Awake’ from his weighty and brilliant next record ‘The Friend is This Animal’ which is coming soon. This intimate performance peels back some of the layers of the album version to reveal the jewel inside in skeletal form. In addition to this track he’s got a cool version of ‘Strange Power’ (which will incidentally also be on the new record) here. Enjoy.

First up will be a rare glimpse at the German maestro One In A Googolplex doing a new tune “Tiger Lion Bear”! Sebastian reports that he has formed an OIAG band and is preparing for some live events in the near future. He also reports that his next record is coming along nicely and may be out before years end! For now we have this cool mellow video to kick off our Alchemist Video Series1. Enjoy and pass along.
